Bedding Tog Rating & Thermal Calculator

Not sure which duvet weight is right for your bedroom? Enter your room temperature and how you usually sleep, and this calculator will suggest a tog rating range for comfortable sleep.

What is a tog? A tog rating measures how well a duvet insulates: higher tog means warmer. Summer duvets are usually 1–4.5 tog, spring/autumn duvets 7–10.5 tog, and winter duvets 13.5–15 tog. Your ideal tog also depends on your sleepwear, mattress, and whether you share a bed.
